Nitza Ortiz borges

Nitza Ortiz Borges” is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Massachusetts.

Nitza holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Interamericana Metro University, Puerto Rico, and has gained a vast amount of therapy experience over the years. Nitza specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults, in both individual and family therapy settings. Her work, particularly with Spanish-speaking families, children, and adolescents, has focused on depression, anxiety, adjustment, isolation, mood swings, defiant behavior, and codependency.

Her therapy work experience also includes supporting adults with substance abuse disorder by providing psychoeducation groups and counseling through the Massachusetts Impaired Driver Program. Nitza’s favored therapy approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, and Reality Therapy. On a personal note, Nitza enjoys reading and watching crime shows in her free time. Nitza invites clients of all multicultural backgrounds for counseling support and is excited to meet you.
