Healing looks different depending on where you are in life — and I meet you exactly there.
As a Black therapist, I support young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression,
trauma, academic pressure, and identity-related stress.
I primarily work with young adults and adults from all backgrounds — including Black
clients, students under academic pressure, first-generation professionals, and individuals
working through identity and cultural stress. I also have experience working with children,
teens, and families navigating behavioral and emotional concerns.
I provide therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, academic pressure, life transitions,
behavioral concerns, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and identity-related stress —
including code-switching and cultural stress.
My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with trauma-informed care,
adapted to each client. With younger clients, I draw on play-based and developmentally
informed approaches. With young adults and adults, I focus on building a collaborative,
culturally grounded therapeutic relationship where real progress happens.
I hold an M.S. in Education in Mental Health Counseling from CUNY Hunter College and a
B.A. in Education Studies, Cum Laude, from Spelman College — backed by 7+ years of
clinical and educational experience that inform every session.
I offer secure, confidential online therapy to clients in Massachusetts, Florida, and New
York, with sessions available in 60 or 45-minute formats and sliding scale pricing.
